The usual fix for two computers on one desk is a metal box, a pile of cables and an evening of rewiring. It sits in the middle of your picture and can cap how sharp and smooth it looks. Now and then it convinces a computer that its screens were unplugged, and your windows scatter. Boxes good enough for several 4K monitors cost hundreds — often from brands you've never heard of, with warranties to match.

The questions people actually ask.
Will it work with my monitors?
Almost certainly, if they're desktop monitors with HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C. A few ship with the needed setting switched off in their menu — if a screen doesn't appear when you press Find my monitors, that's the first thing to check. The 7-day trial proves your exact setup before you pay. Two things can't be switched: TVs, and a laptop's own built-in screen.4
Do I need to buy anything else?
No. Your monitors, your computers and your phone are the whole kit. If you already have a USB switch for your keyboard and mouse, keep it — it just got better.
Is it hard to set up?
Two minutes per computer. Install, open the app on your phone, type the short code shown on the screen. There are no settings to hunt for, and it never asks for an administrator password.
My work laptop has a strict VPN. Will it still work?
That desk is where Deskwire KVM was born. When a Windows work laptop can't see your home network, the phone connects over Bluetooth instead. No IT ticket, no exceptions to request. Bluetooth for Mac and Linux comes later.
What happens if I stop paying?
For 7 days, nothing — that's the grace period, and it also covers a holiday without internet. After that, switching pauses and the app says so plainly. It doesn't uninstall itself, doesn't nag, and never touches your monitor settings. Your setup and the button on your USB switch keep working. Subscribe again and everything resumes.
What do you collect about me?
Nothing today. There's no account, no analytics and no tracking. From the 2.0 release, activating a license will send your key and an anonymous device ID to us — and nothing else. This website sets no cookies. Privacy, in full.
- Verified with the UGREEN USB 3.0 Sharing Switch (30768): its button press is detected on our own desk and triggers the same switch the phone does. Other USB switches and docks work by design: Deskwire KVM reacts to your keyboard and mouse moving, not to any particular box.
- Verified: Windows 11 and Android, on real hardware in daily use; Windows 10 works by design. Mac (Apple Silicon) and Linux are built from the same code and checked on every change, but have not yet been run on a Mac or Linux desk; they are labelled accordingly.
- Launch pricing in euro, indicative and subject to change; every term for both desk sizes is on the pricing page. Checkout, public downloads, the trial, the grace period and license checks all arrive with the 2.0 release; until then the trial button reaches a human, and early access has no limits.
