Two minutes per computer.
Install Deskwire KVM on each computer you want to switch, open the app on your phone, and type the short code you see on screen. That's the whole setup. Public downloads open with the 2.0 release — until then, early access is a human at the other end of an email, and you get the full product.
Windows
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. Lives in the taskbar. Follows your USB switch's button. Connects over Bluetooth for locked-down work laptops. Installs for you alone — never asks for an administrator password.
Verified on Windows 11 · Windows 10 works by design
Mac
Apple Silicon (M1 or newer), macOS 12 or newer. Will live in the menu bar. One small helper, installed once from the Terminal with a step-by-step guide. Intel Macs are not supported.
In development not yet run on a Mac desk
Linux
64-bit Intel/AMD and ARM. Taskbar, or no screen at all. One setup step asks for your password once; after that, never.
In development not yet run on a Linux desk
Android
Android 8.0 or newer. The remote: finds your computers, pairs with a short code, one tap each. Free — the license lives on the desk, not the phone.

Signed, checked, boring.
When downloads open, they'll be signed so Windows and macOS trust them without warnings, and for every file we'll publish a way to confirm it's the genuine one. Until each of those is true, downloads stay early-access by hand — an unsigned installer teaches people to click through warnings, and we'd rather not.
After you email
You get a reply from a human with the current build for your computers, a two-minute setup walkthrough, and a direct line back for anything that misbehaves. Early-access users get their first 12 months at launch pricing when checkout opens.
